As part of Imaginate’s ongoing programme of artist residencies supporting new performance ideas for young audiences, Imaginate and St Crispin’s school hosted artist Ellie Griffiths from September – December 2017 in a project called FRAMES. This one-term pilot project funded Ellie to spend time with pupils in the school with time for her own research to explore performance ideas for young, neurodiverse audiences.

Students from Queen Margaret’s University came to help children from Yellow class learn about healthy eating. They devised a game for the pupils to try and also ran some healthy tasting sessions, bringing in fresh fruit and raisins. Jack and Steffi enjoyed strawberries and melon while Craig preferred dry raisins. It was a fun and educational collaboration which the children thoroughly enjoyed. We wish the students well as they finish their 3rd year project and yellow class were glad to help!
Today at assembly Yellow Class shared everything they have been doing to be “Eco”!
