St. Crispin’s currently has 6 primary classes, 5 on site and 1 satellite class temporarily hosted at Oaklands School. As well as being provided with a broad and general education, learners further benefit from subject specialist teachers in Art, Music and P.E. Pupil profiles are completed in P7 to ensure a smooth transition into S1.
Pupils in primary are encouraged to achieve beyond the classroom and have opportunities for skills development through outings in the local community and beyond. Our primary classes this year have enjoyed learning through the Holyrood Park Rangers, National Museum of Scotland, Forest Schools, Blazing Saddles and series of music sessions with DRAKE Music. In 2018-2019, we aim to provide pupils with opportunities to visit The Yard and create more partnerships with the wider community.
