Welcome back to all of our staff and pupils! As our first week draws to a close, we have been delighted to get back into the swing of things for the new school year. Pupils are settling in to their new classes and have already had lots of fun and learning opportunities this week through classroom activities, P.E., Music and Outdoor Education.
We have a very busy term ahead with lots of exciting opportunities for our learners both inside and outside of the classroom. Primary classes will be visiting the Yard and enjoying drama sessions with Inspire. Purple and Pink classes will be working with the Lyceum Project on an intepretation of Peter Pan, Gold Class are looking forward to starting Music for All and Silver Class are gearing up to get the Tuck Shop running! As well as this, we have more sessions planned with our friends at Blazing Saddles and everyone is eagerly awaiting the delivery of our new bikes.
Permission forms for trips, photography and medication have gone home to all pupils, please look out for these in bags and return ASAP. Parents/carers of Senior Phase pupils have received invites to a transition event which is sure to be informative and get the Transition Year off to a flying start.
We are looking for new members for our Parent Council and would welcome parents/carers across all classes to get involved, letters will be going home in the next 2 weeks.
We look forward to the year ahead with all of our learners and their families. Keep checking the website and Twitter for our weekly updates to enjoy photos, class news and all things St. Crispin’s!
